[Wearing Today] 081810 Aka Happy G-Day!

I’m on time for once!!! I had to make a special post today–as it is Kwon Jiyong’s 22nd birthday (his 23rd in Korean age)!

I love this man so much it can’t be right. That right there is one of my favorite photographs of the GORGEOUS, SWEET, AMAZING KWON JIYONG, ALSO KNOWN AS G-DRAGON. He’s from Big Bang, in case you’ve been living in a rock all this time, and is one of my favorite Korean artists OF ALL TIME. Haha. I’m trying not to make this post all fangirly, but I can’t help it. I love him <3

I love it when he wears a simple white v-neck shirt–he’s done it on several occasions and always manage to look supahfly, even more than his brave outfits. So, I figure, in homage (lol), I was going to wear a white v-neck shirt today. :)

Hold on though, because I want to end with some more GD photos–all of these are from last year’s Global Gathering Korea, where he performed along with 2NE1. Ugh, it’s one of those festivals that are kind of like Summer Sonic or Fuji Rock for me. T.T (Details of this year’s GGK after the GD spam.)

//Details about Global Gathering Korea:

Basically, Global Gathering is the world’s largest DJ/Dance music festival. It’s annual, and is held in 6 countries (this year): Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, UK, Russia and South Korea. SK is the only Asian country~ Last year it was on September 29th. This year GGK2010 will be on Saturday 9th October at the Han River Nanji Park in Seoul.

This is the poster for the Ticketing Event, which was moved to today. There's no Line Up released yet but last year was pretty awesome!

[Wearing Today] 071510 Playing at Zara

I had to go to this reunion dinner with my senior class about a month ago. I arrived a bit early, but since the place was in a shopping area, I went around a bit in the mall. Purchased stuff at Zara, but not before taking photos in the dressing room, lol.

I wasn’t going to post this if it wasn’t for my hair! I braided it the night before and left it so it looks a bit like it’s permed. XD

And another set… I ended up buying the gray version of those dropped crotch pants. They’re very comfortable–made out of cotton and are kind of like sweat pants. I could sleep in them. Heh.

Haha it would be a bit stupid if I have these play dressing photos up but not what I actually wore. So, of course, what I wore that day to the reunion dinner:

Hehe, well there you go. I just didn’t want to let the photos go to waste. I have tons more to update with! And I’m finally ready to work on releasing the photos from the past few months– full of Korean acts (One Way!) and some events, and finally a Got Sense in the works. :)

Also, the first Super Show 3 just finished in Korea. So much excitement!

[Specials] Alexander Birthday Post!!

Again, I am late haha! But it is still the 29th where I am, and also every timezone after mine, so this counts!!! Like what I did with Dongho’s birthday, this special post is dedicated to the birthday boy Alexander Lee Eusebio of U-KISS!!! :D

In celebration are 21 (for his age haha) un-watermarked 1200 x 800 Alexander photos from me! XD Yay! Comment for a zip file download link, but you can really just save them on your own if you like. :P (Although comments would be awesome. Hehe…)

[Review] Taeyang’s SOLAR

So let me tell you about the time I went to Hong Kong and all I got was this beautiful, gorgeous, amazing album. My Hong Kong trip deserves a post of its own, and obviously, that will take quite a bit of time considering how lazy I am with updating my site. I have recently (which is modest for “3 weeks ago”) opened my Deluxe Edition and documented the beautiful moment! Haha, I bought it for the shirt. No, actually the songs in the album are great, relatively, for a K-Pop release so I decided to review the album as well. :)

[Specials] Happy Dongho Day!

In honor of my first ever U-KISS favorite, Shin Dongho’s birthday, I have decided to make a special post–of my photos of him! Lol, it’s not much, but the size is larger than usual (1200 x 800 instead of 900 x 600 which is my standard) and there is no watermark. ^^

These photos are from the U-KISS promotional tour here in Manila back in March, and also from their first ever (international, even) concert First Kiss. Most of my photos from First Kiss were taken at a farther range than what I would have liked, but I hope you don’t mind. XD

[Wearing Today] 061010 Outfit Post

I went out to do errands that day. I forgot I took some photos, because I was actually “dressed” in something other than lazy Manila weather clothing.

I have a scar on my right foot from a car accident when I was in 4th grade...

I think I blend in well with the leaves on our fence. :P

…Also my hair is getting incredibly gross these days. I’m thinking of dyeing it back to black.

I don't look like myself in this photo. Thanks to my Mom for taking it. Haha.

By the way, I’m very sorry for being so slow with my updates. I have yet to post about U-KISS, Super Junior and Beast in Manila (with Kim Hyunjoong). I also have a lot of style and item favorites that I want to blog about. Just, haven’t gotten around to making it because I’ve been keeping busy with a small photography stint (which doesn’t pay, but I’m enjoying myself ^^).

[Event] The Post That Is 6 Months Late

Yes, I am finally making a post about last year’s Philippines-Korea Friendship Festival! Last November 27, 2009, SHINee together with Mighty Mouth and Winterplay were guests for the 60th Anniversary of Philippine-Korean relations. They performed alongside Filipino acts such as Brownman Revival and Avii Pineda, who performed a Korean pop number that became a hit in the Philippines (Nobody by the Wonder Girls).

The reason why it took me so long to write this is because the experience for me was personal one. I did not even take a lot of photographs because I was determined to enjoy the show. But in lieu of SHINee’s second debut anniversary, I am “releasing” some of the photos I took during the event!

What everyone was there for: SHINee <3

I was seated on the third row from the front, right at the center. I owe the whole experience to the amazing girls over at SHINee World PH, of which I’ve  been a member since 2008. :) It was a really momentous event for Kpop fans in the Philippines since it is the first major event since the Pops In Seoul anniversary where Kpop artists performed for their Philippine fans. It also marked the start of various acts such as 4Minute, F.T. Island, U-KISS and Super Junior coming to Manila. And I’m pretty sure there’s more to come!

Personally, I cannot wait for SHINee to come back (complete, this time, since member Taemin wasn’t there due to the swine flu)!

[Hello] Welcome to the new LoveStyleFree!

After that “First Post” I have been doing a bunch of things. Basically, tweaking the site here and there and some real-life errands I had to put away. I have a number of posts lined up for the site! The long-overdue Korea-Philippines Friendship Festival all the way from November, U-KISS Promo Tour last March, Super Show 2 in Manila, and a couple of local fan club events are just a short list of the posts I have to update with! Not to mention how I am in search of a job currently…lol.

Well, for now you get a fairly recent photo of me, to make this a little homey. :)
